Courtney says she has OCD and that her condition and her fear of germs causes her to spend her days washing her hands until they bleed and avoiding shoes, toilets, garbage and especially anything that looks or reminds her of vomit. The 25-year-old, who says she was diagnosed at age 8, confides, “Living with OCD has been agony for me.”
