Nutscapes Are Taking The World By The Balls (NSFW)

If you've become bored with beautiful landscape photos posted all over the Internet, why not liven them up with some tasteful nut sacks?

Nutscapes is a weirdly stunning collection of crowdsourced landscapes, embellished with just a touch of male gonads.

Touting itself as "a community-built web-based photographic project spawned in New Zealand in 2007," the site also shares images on Twitter and, until recently, Instagram, where its page was deactivated due to TOS violations.

Most of the images aren't blatantly NSFW. Rather, they show shadowy images of gangly balls dangling in front of mountains, beaches and historic sites.

"I believe Nutscapes has great artistic depth because it touches upon both a low-brow vulgarity and a high-brow concept," project founder Clancy Philbrick told Mashable.

"Simply, testes are f*cking funny. Always have been; always will be. They add humor to a subject matter, landscape photography, that is typically a little dry," he said.

For those interested in learning how to Nutscape, the site breaks down the steps:

HOW TO NUTSCAPE:

1. Find yourself somewhere awesome.

2. Turn your back to the awesome scene.

3. Drop your pants.

4. Bend over and shoot Nutscape back through your legs.

Additionally, the site encourages users to exercise discretion:

"Mind the tip: we're not into dick picks."
