Silly Car, Slides Are For Kids

Slides are scary enough already without having to worry about a car flying through the air and crashing down on top of them.

Luckily, there were no kids on the church playground in Richmond, California when this exact thing happened midday on Sunday.



A woman became “distracted” behind the wheel and wound up driving onto the sidewalk and into a fence, which caused her 2006 Toyota Camry to slide “like a skateboard” down onto the playground at the Yiu Mienh Baptist Church, according to a news release by the Richmond Police Department.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

The woman, whose name was not released, was issued citations for allegedly driving without a license, driving with her 7-year-old son not secured in a safety seat, and driving off the road.
