The Supposed McDonald's 'Souls Of The Damned' Sundae Isn't New, Sadly

It seemed like a hell of a fun story: A Twitter user said he ordered a strawberry sundae at McDonald's and found a demonic, skull-like image staring through the cup.

Several outlets reported on the Jan. 9 post. If a person can find Jesus in a bird turd, it stands to reason that the dead can infiltrate a fast food dessert, no?

But the photo seems to have come back from the digital beyond. The same image has been used over and over, dating back to at least September 2013.

Sigh. We wanted to believe. But whatever this concoction is and wherever it's from, it still looks scary.
