Woman Accused Of Snowblower Attack On Neighbor

This is snow way to handle yourself in a blizzard.

Police in Massachusetts say a 61-year-old woman attacked her neighbor with a handheld snowblower during the winter storm on Tuesday, MyFoxBoston reports.

Barbara Davis, of Arlington, was arrested when authorities responding to reports of an assault in progress found her allegedly harming her 60-year-old neighbor. Police said the two women had a longstanding dispute.

Arlington Police Chief Frederick Ryan was not amused.

“Emotions may run high during a historic weather event like the blizzard we just endured, but that is no excuse for violence,” Ryan said, according to CBS Boston. “We are supposed to come together as a community during events like this, and I am very disappointed with these allegations.”

The victim, who police did not name, previously filed a restraining order against Davis. She was treated for minor injuries.

Davis was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, violation of a harassment protection order, and mayhem. She did not make the HuffPost list of "Who Won The Blizzard Of 2015."
