Paris Hilton Named Her Dog After Herself, Because Why Not?

There is a movement in the entertainment industry to convince you that the rich and famous are "just like us." Paris Hilton is not like you, or anyone you know. Paris Hilton shares the same genetic makeup as you -- that is true -- but that's where the comparisons end.

You see, Paris Hilton is a woman who reportedly just dropped $25,000 on two Pomeranian puppies, and previously spent $13,000 on similar white fur ball in September. And while Hilton gave one of the two new puppies to her mother, Kathy Hilton, as a 35th wedding anniversary gift, she kept the other and named it after herself, naturally.

The 33-year-old reality star-turned-DJ posted a photo of the tiny pup on Jan. 6 and asked her Instagram followers what name she should bestow upon it.

On Thursday, Hilton showed up to a pre-Golden Globes event in West Hollywood with the adorable fluffy marshmallow masquerading as a puppy in hand and revealed to the Daily Mail that her newest pet shall henceforth be known as "Princess Paris Jr."

Princess Paris Jr. will join Hilton's other Pomeranian, Prince Hilton, among the growing zoo of animals she keeps as pets in her home.
