The Houston Texans' running back inexplicably gave a press interview in a British accent Thursday.
The Guardian newspaper in the United Kingdom called the accent "generic cockney," and one journalist reportedly said it was "passable." Not bad for a guy who hails from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and attended college at the University of Tennessee.
Foster reverted briefly to his regular speech, but you have to give the guy props for livening up the often-mundane exchanges with reporters during the week.
The team seemed pretty amused:
Cheerio, Mate!
Arian Foster spoke to reporters today...in a British accent.
