Justin Trudeau Helping A Girl Build A Pillow Fort Is All Kinds Of Adorable

World leaders (usually) get to do exactly what they want.

So when a 5-year-old girl called Bella won a CBC Kids’ contest to become Canada’s “Prime Minister For A Day,” she asked actual PM Justin Trudeau if they could build a pillow fort in her/his office.

And that’s exactly what they did:

Photographs show how Trudeau rearranged parts of his bureau to build the makeshift shelter ― which the pair made from couch cushions, wooden chairs and a maple leaf-emblazoned blanket.

CBC Kids shared heartwarming images of the publicity stunt to Facebook on May 16. They are now going viral.

Bella, from Manitoba, won the contest by making this statement on what she would do if she was in charge of the country for 24 hours.

“As prime minster, I would make sure everyone has homes and everyone is safe. I would hug everyone. I would make sure animals and the world around us are kept safe. I would make sure every Canadian is healthy. I would show kindness to everyone.”

Sounds good to us.
