The 82-year-old boyfriend, whose name hasn't been publicized, initially lied to Pennsylvania State Police by claiming that an intruder assaulted him on May 15, according to the Centre Daily Times.
But after the Mount Nittany Medical Center discharged him on Monday, he met again with state police and this time blamed Bonnie Sue Treaster for pummeling and cutting him in a fit of jealousy, according to Fox 43.
Police say Treaster, 46, ransacked the boyfriend's home before throwing him to the ground and hitting him in the head with an exhaust clamp, The Associated Press reported. She then grabbed a hacksaw and tried pulling down his pants, according to reports.
He ran naked from the home with a bloody groin wound but found no one to help him. Treaster, who followed him in a pickup truck, brought him back to his house, where she became enraged again and allegedly struck him in the mouth with a model airplane, according to the Centre Daily Times.
Police reportedly found a bloody hacksaw in the garage.
Treaster was arrested Tuesday and remained in custody on Wednesday, according to the Centre County Correctional Facility's website. She has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of simple assault and harassment.
The boyfriend needed stitches on his head and finger, and had a black eye, an injury to his genitals and a minor brain bleed, reports said.
