Scott, a retired paratrooper and gubernatorial candidate in the Bluegrass State, took the skydiving trip at the Elizabethtown Airport from about 3,500 feet, according to the AP. After the jump, Scott outlined his plans to help veterans in a press conference.
WHAS reports the jump is taking place 50 years after Scott first jumped out of an airplane during his Army training.
