Mayor Mercilessly Trolls Kids About Snow Days On Twitter, And It's Hilarious

When you're a student looking for any excuse to skip homework, snow days are no laughing matter. And that's a source of endless amusement for Mark Boughton, the mayor of Danbury, Connecticut, who announces snow days.

Boughton clearly relishes his authority, and has no trepidation about trolling Danbury-area students on Twitter as to whether or not they'll have school the next day. Tuesday night, it was a thing of beauty. Behold:

"I have a very serious policy side," he added, "but I like to have a good chuckle."

Parents looking for a straighter answer on snow days may have more luck on Boughton's Facebook page, which is considerably less withholding.
