Man Towed By Car Skis Through Suburban Detroit, Gets Busted On Camera

You won't see this at the Winter Olympics.

A man skiing the streets of suburban Detroit while being towed by a car was caught on camera during a local newscast Sunday night.

The dangerous stunt unfolded as Jim Fouts, the mayor of Warren, Michigan, was being interviewed by WXYZ-TV about the dicy driving conditions created by a snowstorm.

Fouts was just describing the snow-covered streets as "treacherous and dangerous" when the man slid into footage. As seen above, the mayor didn't hesitate to offer commentary.

"It's horrendous, and that person will certainly get a ticket if there's a police officer in that area," he told WXYZ viewers.

Sure enough, with the camera still on the skier, cops appeared and pulled the car and skier over.

"I've got to admit, I was shocked," Fouts told The Huffington Post.

And that perhaps didn't even qualify as the most unusual snowstorm incident Sunday in the region. A naked man wearing only a cowboy hat was videotaped walking on the side of a highway in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The 53-year-old was taken to a hospital and police are deciding whether to file charges, the Detroit Free Press reported.
