'Misunderstood' Man Accused In Beach Stick-Up, Robbery

Even if police don't understand him, they didn't have too much trouble catching this suspect.

A Florida man with the word "misunderstood" inked across his forehead is accused of robbing five women at gunpoint on a beach near Miami.

Police say that Jonathan Warrenfeltz, 24, and his alleged accomplice, Joshua Zeaya, 23, stole over $1,500 in property from the group at Dania Beach, NBC Miami reports.

According to detectives, the pair of suspects approached the women around 6:00 a.m., Wednesday, during an early morning visit to the beach. They demanded the groups' valuables and fled to a get-away car, which drove them to a nearby Motel 6.

Witnesses were able to recognize Warrenfeitz in particular, thanks to his memorable body art.

The Sun-Sentinel reports:

Seven witnesses identified Warrenfeltz from several facial tattoos, including "Misunderstood" in cursive script. He apparently got the tattoo after his release from prison Feb. 1, records showed.

Warrenfeltz and Zeaya are charged with five counts each of robbery with a firearm. Zeaya also faces charges of aggravated battery and battery causing bodily harm.
