Planned Parenthood has been attacked wildly by the right for years, but last month was especially misguided. When the organization's president, Cecile Richards, was questioned at a House hearing in September, it became quite clear that Republican representatives were uninformed on the subject and reaching desperately.
So today, on "Back to the Future" Day -- the day Marty McFly travels to the future -- let's remember how important Planned Parenthood is, that it in fact has very little to do with abortion, and that we ought not send reproductive healthcare into the past.
