Police in Oklahoma say they intercepted a package last week containing a stuffed Easter bunny filled with two pounds of meth.
“The Easter Bunny I thought was a strange touch,” said Tahlequah Police Chief Nate King, according to Fox23.
The bunny had a street value of $30,000 and was headed to a residence in Tahlequah.
Authorities said they received a tip about the holiday delivery. They picked off the package from resident Carolyn Ross, who admitted to police that she was expecting the delivery and was meant to pass on the illegal substance "to an unknown person at a later date," according to KFOR.
“It’s not the prize egg that we want in Tahlequah,” King said.
Ross was held on $75,000 bond.
