According to the Wall Street Journal, Ikea recently partnered with Wireless Power Consortium to develop tables, desks and lamps with chargers inside the furniture. The new line will come out April 15 in Europe and North America, and will integrate WPC's Qi wireless technology into the furniture.

The smart furniture will cost a bit extra (about $22 more), but the hassle of not having to find (or fight) for a charger will make it well worth it. If you'd like to put one of the devices into existing desks or tables, WSJ said that charging kits will also be available for around $33.
The downside? The chargers appear to work for everything except some models of iPhones. Until Ikea figures out how to solve that little problem, we recommend trying "Luna," the mattress cover that will charge your iPhone AND turn off your light at night.
