The Mountain From 'Game Of Thrones' Just Broke A Legendary Strength Record

Those muscles aren't just for show.

Hafthor Bjornsson, who plays The Mountain on "Game of Thrones," lifted a log that weighed more than 1,400 pounds and walked five steps with it to break a 1,000-year-old record of legend, according to reports.

Bjornsson, a strength contest regular who won Europe's Strongest Man last summer, performed the feat en route to finishing first in the World's Strongest Viking competition in Fefor, Norway, on Jan. 31.

The strength-dedicated website Iron Mind noted that according to lore, a man named Orm Storulfsson walked three steps with a log of more than 1,320 pounds but broke his back.

"My back held up fine!" Bjornsson said on his Instagram, adding, "Nothing can stop me! Nothing can break me!"
