Artist Transforms Parents' House To Unbelievable Halloween Haunted House

Christine McConnell's parents are certainly ready for Halloween -- at least their house is.

McConnell, artist, photographer and baker, decorated her parents' house for the spooky occasion with elaborate details -- garnering her more than 24,00o likes on her Instagram photo capturing her work.

As a huge fan of Halloween, McConnell enjoys binge-watching Halloween-themed movies and was especially inspired after watching "Monster House".

It took McConnell four 12-hour days to complete her parents' very own "Monster House," -- a project that included a lot of quality family time, as well.

"I spent a good amount of that socializing with them," she told the Huffington Post. "So it wasn't all work."

McConnell has been decorating her parents' house for several years. In the past she's created large-sized bats and ghosts and has even baked a cake modeling their home -- but this year, her parents are most impressed.

"This is by far their favorite," she said.
